Clinical Research is one of the most exciting and in-demand professions in the medical device industry. Clinical trials that are well designed and properly executed are keys to success for most medical device companies and are critical to making safe and effective medical products available to patients worldwide.
St. Cloud State University's Master of Science in Applied Clinical Research (MS-ACR) is unique in that it focuses on the application of clinical research for the medical technology industry.

Courses are taught by industry experts with extensive practical experience and leadership working for medical device companies. The program also leverages the expertise of select University Professors that specialize in key knowledge areas. The program's direction and evolution is being guided by an industry advisory board made up of some of the industry's most senior and experienced executive leaders in clinical research and related fields.

The clinical research profession requires versatile individuals with excellent communications skills and a broad knowledge of human biology; statistical methods; experimental design; state, federal and international regulations; planning and logistics; and risk management. The Master of Science in Applied Clinical Research provides students with the requisite skills to be part of this vibrant profession making critical and innovative contributions to human health.
