UPB is currently comprised of six programming committees, all of which are open to any SCSU student! If you are interested in joining or helping with an event, click on the committee name and then contact the coordinator. It's easy to get involved, just show up at our meetings and give us your input!
This committee is responsible for programming a variety of films to be made and available at no cost to the campus community. In addition, they program other film-related events that include, but are not limited to, speakers, outdoor movies, and amateur filmmaker showcases.
The committee is responsible for programming late night events after 9:00 p.m. including but not limitd to the weekend “Atwood After Dark” and “Halenbeck After Dark” series. These events include, but are not limited to, novelty activities, showcasing performers, crafts, food, and dance parties.
This committee is responsible for programming a variety of events for the campus: these events include performing arts, musical artists, comedians, and other live entertainment; both contracted artists and student performers.
The committee is responsible for programming in collaboration with others to build community, foster campus spirit, and promote SCSU pride. The committee is responsible for Late Skate Saturdays, Blizzardshack, Huskypalooza, and the Husky Spirit Challenge Week. The coordinator will also be a member of the Celebrate! Planning Committee to plan such events.
The committee is responsible for programming a diverse schedule of worldly and/or local co-curricular, and collaborative programs for the SCSU campus community. Programs may include but are not limited to speakers, service projects, and awareness events. In addition, this committee is responsible for programming in the Atwood Gallery
This committee is responsible for programming that takes place during Celebrate! St. Cloud State and Husky Kick-Off. This committee will work with the Celebrate! Programming Committee and the Husky Kick-Off Committee to provide a diverse set of programs for the campus community.
The Executive Board is comprised of the President and Vice President responsible for the overall function of the organization.
UPB plans several events and activities for SCSU students during the summer months. The Lemonade Concert and Art Fair is a large-scale annual event that happens in June.
