Executive Board

The Executive Board consists of the President, Vice President of Administration, Vice President of Member Relations, and Vice President of Marketing.  These students are responsible for providing organizational and developmental support to all coordinators and committee members of UPB.


The UPB President serves as the primary spokesperson for the organization.  He acts as a liaison between UPB and other organizations and departments on campus.  Primary duties include: presiding over all Board, Executive Board, and Executive Committee meetings; serving as the chief constitutional officer; assisting with the UPB budget process along with the UPB director.

Vice President of Administration

The UPB Vice President of Administration is responsible for maintaining minutes of all organizational meetings and coordinates the annual UPB officer selection process.  The VP/Admin is also responsible for informing the Executive Board/Committee about executive expenditures and budget balance.  The VP/Admin serves as president in the absence of both the president and vice presidents of Marketing and Member Relations

Vice President of Marketing

The Vice President of Marketing and Promotions is responsible for assisting the other board members with event promotion. They also are responsible for the overall promotion for UPB. Duties include: presiding over the board if President is absent, updating display cases, promotion creation, liaising with the Department of Campus Involvement marketing team, working closely with the Vice President of Member Relations, UPB facebook page, and the maintenance of the UPB website.

Vice President of Member Relations

The V.P.s of Member Relations is responsible for assisting other board members with recruitment and retention of members. This is achieved largely though recruitment events like Mainstreet and Sidestreet and other UPB specific recruitment events. Duties include: planing and implementing recruitment events, Mainstreet and Sidestreet organization for UPB, working closely with the Vice President of Marketing and Promotions, website maintenance, Member of the Month, apparel orders, and other recognition.
