The Lindgren Child Care Center exists as St. Cloud State University understands that for many parents, child care is a necessity prior to enrolling in college coursework.
Once enrolled at St. Cloud State, we become the critical resource you need to succeed as we have extensive experience working with pregnant and parenting students, and what it takes to be successful.
Early childhood programs accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs have voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process of internal self-study, invited external professional review to verify compliance with the Academy's Criteria for High Quality, and have been found to be in substantial compliance. The Lindgren Child Care Center has completed the self-assessment, validation of re-accreditation and has received their NAEYC Accreditation through August 2019.
The Lindgren Child Care Center provides child care services 7:30 AM - 5:30PM, Monday through Friday during Fall and Spring Semesters. During the Summer Sessions services are available 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Our new evening and Saturday programming allows the Lindgren Child Care Center to meet the needs of student parent families as they take evening class, work, run errands, or work out at campus recreation.
Monday – Friday 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m.
Are you eligible for an Early Learning Scholarship?
Research shows that quality and affordable on-campus child care increase persistence and graduation for student parents, however the cost can create a barrier. The Pathway scholarship offered through the MN Department of Education can offset the cost for this evening/Saturday care. We will help you find all forms of funding that are available to you!
