Department of Mathematics & Statistics

Mathematics and statistics are necessary tools in a variety of vocations.

In addition to courses that support our undergraduate degrees in mathematics, mathematics teaching and statistics, we offer general and specialized courses that support students in areas such as business, computer science, education, engineering, and the physical, life and social sciences.

To compete in a technological and global society, our graduates need a strong foundation in analytical thinking, data analysis, problem solving and modeling. Our mathematics and statistics courses develop and hone these skills.
