Patty Diederichs earned her Bachelor of Music degree in horn performance from St. Cloud State University in 1994. She went on to gain her Master of Music degree, also in horn performance, while working with Professor Douglas Hill at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996.

While in Wisconsin she played with the Madison Symphony and Wisconsin Chamber Orchestras.  She has performed in several different areas of the United States including the Chicago and Washington DC areas.

Teaching experiences include lessons through St. Cloud State University, Elgin Community College faculty and Blue Lake Fine Art’s Camp Faculty. Currently she is principal horn of the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra, performs with the Granite City Brass Quintet and  is an active player with local productions and organizations.
