The Symphony Orchestra is open to all students who play orchestral instruments. The orchestra performs repertoire ranging from baroque to contemporary and from concert standards to world premieres both on and off campus.

Auditions take place during the first week of classes in the Performing Arts Center and consist of a solo of the player's choice and a brief interview.
