Student Opportunities

Our programs provide a wealth of opportunities for students to teach, create and perform while earning a degree at St. Cloud State. Those opportunities include:

• A wide range of musical ensembles are available to all students at St. Cloud State, while earning credit in the university's liberal education program.
• Student Organizations complement what students are learning in the classroom, and provide a positive environment for simply having fun.
• Music scholarships are available by audition for students to be considered for yearly awards between $1,500 to $5,000.
• Annual Music Department festivals and guest artist series bring internationally recognized professionals for close and personal interaction with our students.
• Local organizations offer great hands-on opportunities for our students to gain professional experience.
