Metro Bus

The following services are offered through Metro Bus. For more information about Metro Bus and their different routes, go to the Metro Bus web site or try their Interactive Route Map.

  • Husky Shuttle
    The Husky Shuttle is an on-campus route which runs only on weekdays and begins and ends at the Wick Science building. During daytime hours, the route runs every 10 minutes and loops south past the Husky Stadium and Husky Hub to Q-lot. During evening hours (until 11 p.m.), the route runs every 20 minutes and also extends north past the Atwood Memorial center and residence halls.
  • Sundowner
    The Sundowner is an evening/late night route which runs every night from 5:15 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. and begins and ends at the Miller Learning Resource Center. The route runs every 30 minutes and includes stops at K and Q-lots on campus as well as area neighborhoods.
  • Late-Night
    The Late-Night is a late night route which runs only Thursday-Saturday nights and begins and ends at the downtown Metro Bus station (5th Ave. N, 1st. St. N). The route runs approximately every 20 minutes and includes a south or east bus. *This bus requires no fare/SCSU ID after 1:50 a.m.*
  • Metro Transit
    Metro Bus provides extensive routes covering much of St. Cloud and the surrounding area. All currently enrolled SCSU, SCTC, and MSB students and SCSU faculty can ride free with a valid school ID.
  • Campus Clippers
    These routes provide direct service to popular off-campus student houseing and SCSU Monday-Friday during Fall and Spring semesters when SCSU is in session.

Jefferson Bus Line

Jefferson Lines offers transportation to Minneapolis, Fargo, and Willmar. Tickets for Jefferson Bus Lines may be purchased at the Atwood Memorial Center Information Desk or Metro Bus Station. (Bus also stops at the Pilot Travel Center, but tickets are not available at this location.)


The Rideshare board is intended to assist students and employees of St. Cloud State University in ride-sharing/car-pooling. Log in to find others commuting from your area.


The Amtrak train station is located north of Highway 23 (555 East St. Germain Street) and is accessible via Metro Bus route.
