Public Safety now offers the ability to contact the dispatch officer without having to make a telephone call. The Public Safety Dispatch Officer can receive text messages by sending the message to 320-308-TEXT. This service allows people with communications disabilities the capability of contacting Public Safety for assistance. It also allows people in circumstances when it is unsafe to call the ability to still communicate with the Public Safety Dispatch Center.
