MSW Student Admission Requirements
Admissions into the MSW program is during the Fall semester only.
January 15 for fall semester enrollment
February 15 for fall semester enrollment
All applications are submitted and reviewed by the School of Graduate Studies at St. Cloud State University before being forwarded to the Department of Social Work. Students who are accepted into the MSW program must first meet the admissions standards established by the School of Graduate Studies at St. Cloud State University.
Advanced Standing students who are admitted to the MSW Program start Fall Semester, and Foundation students begin second summer session.
The graduate application process includes: an admission application, application fee, Statement of Intent, unofficial transcripts documenting degree complete and grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the last two years of undergraduate education, and three recommendation forms (see Information Packet https://www.stcloudstate.edu/socialwork/msw/prospectivestudents/default.asp ).
