Dear Huskies,
As 2024 draws to a close, we want to thank you for staying connected with St. Cloud State University throughout the year. We hope you'll continue to stay engaged with #OurSCSU community in the new year — by attending events, sharing your story and supporting the University.
As we look forward to 2025, we are excited to announce our first event of the year outside of St. Cloud: Feb. 28 the Husky pack will be traveling to Denver, Colorado. If you live in Colorado, or will be traveling to Colorado, join us at our Huskies Headquarters event. You can learn more here.
In addition to joining us at events, you can also join our team! We are looking for an Associate Director of Development who will work to engage #OurSCSU community in the power of philanthropy. You can learn more about this position and this excellent opportunity to join SCSU here. We will also be posting our Associate Director of Alumni Engagement in the coming weeks. If you’d like to work to help foster a vibrant and engaged alumni community, this role might be for you. I will follow up next month with more information.
As I noted above, we enjoy working with our 133,000 alumni-strong community to strengthen SCSU. We are also proud that SCSU serves more than 10,000 students — 79% from Minnesota. Over 38% of our students are first-generation, just like so many of you were. Their needs have changed as the world around us moves forward, and we need support from alumni and friends to make a positive impact on their educational experience. Make your final 2024 impact with a gift to SCSU today before the end of the year – Dec. 31, 2024.
The year 2025 will be an exciting one for SCSU and we look forward to your involvement with us. Be sure to bookmark our events page so you can see how you can participate.
