St. Cloud State wrestling clinches NSIC Championship St. Cloud State wrestling erased a 10-0 deficit after three matches to comeback and defeat UMary in February. With the win, SCSU closed out its conference dual schedule with a perfect 9-0 mark to clinch a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Regular Season Championship, its 12th NSIC title in the last 13 seasons.

Sauk Rapids special education teachers become first brother-sister duo to officiate state tournament In February, St. Cloud State alumni Kaelyn Szymanski ’20 and Ryan Szymanski ’16, ’20 became the first brother-sister duo to officiate a girls state hockey tournament game. Kaelyn was a linesman and Ryan was one of the referees for a Class AA state quarterfinals game between Maple Grove and Minnetonka.

SCSU Library aids project to preserve 500,000 books for future generations The St. Cloud State University Library is one of 24 academic libraries from across Minnesota working together to ensure nearly half a million scarcely-held books will remain available to Minnesotans for the foreseeable future.

Athletic performance coach uses experience to help athletes reach potential St. Cloud State alumnus DeVentri Jordan is an athletic performance coach and founder of GameFace Training, which helps to prepare elite athletes for their sports. He recently spoke with Men's Health about the challenges and triumphs faced by Black trainers, athletes and gym owners within the fitness community.
