"While I enjoyed all of my professors at SCSU, the standout in my academic career was my academic advisor, Dr. Neil Volz. I received exceptional guidance and advice that translated into the real world, beyond my undergraduate program. I must credit my success, especially in the senior year, partially to his commitment to ensuring students make the most of their education.
"I love the campus at SCSU. It is a small, comfortable and secure-feeling campus with beautiful architecture. I walked to class each day, despite the weather, strictly by choice. I spent countless hours in the library — oftentimes until 2 a.m. — and found it an effective workspace." - Leah Neidecker ’13
