Winter Weather Alert

Due to hazardous winter weather on Tuesday, January 21, in-person St. Cloud classes before 11:00 AM will be delivered remotely.  Plymouth campus & classes will operate as scheduled. Offices will operate remotely until 10:00 AM.  Non-essential employees report to work at 10:00 AM.  Check your email for details.

STUDENTS:  
 
January 21 is an e-learning day for classes starting before 11:00 AM on the St. Cloud campus.  This means that faculty will determine the best way to accommodate instruction for their courses during this time. Contact your professor or visit the D2L page for your class instructions.  Classes and events will resume in a regularly scheduled delivery format at 11:00 AM, and afternoon and evening classes/events will be held as scheduled. 

Please note that the library lobby and 24-hour computer lab will be open and available for students and employees who are on campus.

Students who need access to basic needs resources and support available on campus and in the community can access resources at the link below. 

Plymouth classes will operate as scheduled.
 
FACILITIES: 
 
All buildings will open at 10:00 AM.  Key card access will function as usual.
 
Atwood Memorial Center offices and the Information Desk will open at 10:00 AM.

Miller Center/Library

Garvey Commons services will remain uninterrupted through the morning hours and into the afternoon and evening. Retail operations in Atwood will open at 10:00 AM.

Plymouth operations will be unaffected and continue as normal.


EMPLOYEES:

Offices will work remotely from their normally scheduled start time until 10:00 AM.

All day shift Facilities Management staff need to report to work by 8:00 AM.

All other employees should report to work by 10:00 AM, unless directed otherwise by a supervisor. All offices will resume in-person activities at 10:00 AM.
 
Non-essential employees who can work remotely should do so.  Non-essential employees who cannot work remotely are to use the MSL leave code for times during the delay. Only hourly employees need to enter MSL if they cannot work remotely. For those who cannot report to work, the usual procedures for taking leave apply.
