Teaching Calculus Graduate Certificate
The graduate certificate in Teaching Calculus prepares you to teach calculus at a high school level. As a teacher with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or science, you will hone your skills in calculus to prepare to teach a subject that is in high demand in Minnesota.

- Follows National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) guidelines.
- Open to teachers with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or science.
- Engaged faculty serving as authors for, and editors of, journals and books, conducting workshops at meetings of professional organizations, volunteering in schools, authoring mathematics competition exams, and writing grants designed to improve teaching and learning of mathematics and statistics.
- Peer and professional tutoring opportunities available through the department and the Math Skills Center.
