University International Advisory Council

The University International Advisory Council (UIAC) is a university-wide committee that is charged with providing advice and recommendations regarding St. Cloud State University’s international strategy, initiatives and activities. The UIAC reports to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. The purpose of the University International Advisory Council is to provide advice on:

  • Coordination of international activities of the university in alignment with SCSU’s international strategic plan
  • Developing synergistic relationships within and between SCSU Colleges and Schools
  • Developing systems, procedures and processes for inclusive review of new and ongoing international initiatives and programs
  • Supporting the development and sharing of data and information related to SCSU’s international activities and expertise
  • Providing funding recommendations to SCSU Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs for proposals for international initiatives
  • Faculty and staff professional development activities related to internationalization
