Chris Jordan
Chris has three degrees: B.A. University of Texas at Austin; M.A. University of North Texas; Ph.D. University of New Mexico. His research focuses on the political economy of the film and television industries, copyright ownership and the public commons, and cultural studies and 1980s cinema.
He is the author of Movies and the Reagan Presidency: Success and Ethics, and has published chapters in Devised and Directed by Mike Leigh, Gender, Race, and Class in Media, 3rd Ed., and How Real is Reality TV?. His journal publications also include Journal of Information Ethics, Velvet Light Trap, Television & New Media, and The Democratic Communique.
