Student patrol officers are responsible for patrolling the SCSU campus to ensure a safe and secure community. Officers will respond to a wide range of calls for services related to safety concerns, medical assistance and other regulations. Officers will gain invaluable interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and become a leader amongst young peers. Officers work special event duties such as Men’s Hockey Games, Cultural Nights and other events on campus. Public Safety has a high rate of success for students interested in the Law Enforcement Field and great networking opportunities through the local St. Cloud Police Department (SCPD).
