Psychology majors have the opportunity to apply for awards/scholarships distributed by the Psychology Foundation. Students may search and apply for scholarships on Huskies Scholarships with the application window opening in January and closing mid-March each year.

Featured Scholarships
The Mary Boltuck Award recognizes a St. Cloud State undergraduate Psychology major who intends to enroll in a psychology graduate program. Mary Boltuck was an SCSU Psychology Department faculty member for 27 years and advised the Psi Chi/Psychology Club for more than ten. Applicants must be a Psi Chi member, and submit a statement of research or clinical experience, as well as respond to an essay prompt regarding their goals in psychology and how they plan to achieve them. The yearly award amount is approximately $1,000.
The Psychology Merit Award recognizes an SCSU Psychology major for high academic achievement and professional development. Applicants must be a psychology major with at least 18 completed credits, have a GPA of 3.0 (overall and in the major), and be currently taking classes at St. Cloud State. Applicants will also be asked to write a short personal statement (600 words or less), provide a transcript or degree audit report, and provide the name and email of a psychology faculty member who can provide a reference letter. Yearly award amount is approximately $1,000.
