Advising and Registration Experience

We are excited to bring our new Huskies into the pack! Selecting courses and setting your schedule is one of the first steps in your collegiate career. Meet with an advisor to learn more about the keys to success for achieving your academic goals, interests, and career objectives.

Undergraduate students only need to sign up for one Advising & Registration Experience. Registration for fall 2025 experiences is open now. Register through your SCSU PURL Page (link in your Advising and Registration Experience email). If you have opted out of communications, you will need to opt back in.

Graduate students are advised by Graduate Studies.

Huskies Advising & Registration Options

The Husky Half Day Experience Half Day, In-Person

Want to come to campus but a full day is too much for your schedule? This is the registration experience for you! During this 3.5 hour event, you will meet with your Student Success Advisor, Residential Life, and check-in with Financial Aid.

Huskies Express In-Person or Virtual

Huskies Express offers a more individualized advising and registration experience. Your admissions counselor will work with you to complete a pre-advising checklist and schedule an appointment with your Student Success Advisor (in-person or Zoom). During this meeting (60 minute), your advisor will go over your degree plan, review your Degree Audit Report, and help you register for classes. If you want or need to follow up with additional resources, we will get you connected.
