Blizzard T. Husky

Blizzard T. Husky is the official mascot of St. Cloud State University

An energetic Husky whose favorite colors are spirit red and granite black, Blizzard enjoys long walks, campus and community events, interacting with students, faculty, alumni and fans, and cheering on the St. Cloud State Huskies.

Blizzard has been created and groomed by Olympus Mascots.

Appearance Fees

Appearances are not guaranteed. A confirmation will be sent upon review of the information provided in the Mascot Appearance Request Form.

• Internally paid University appearances are $30 per hour (one-hour minimum). This is a discounted rate to cover costs incurred.
• External (private) appearances within Stearns County are $40 per hour (one-hour minimum) plus mileage for Blizzard to travel at $0.60 per mile.
• Pricing for appearances outside of Stearns County will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
• All cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.
• St. Cloud State reserves the right to refuse an appearance.

Additional Appearance Requirements

• Accurate directions, location, on-site contact and on-site phone number must be provided.
• Parking must be provided for the mascot.
• A private and secure changing room (not a bathroom or a closet) must be provided for the mascot to change and keep belongings locked during the appearance.
• Water, preferably bottled, must be provided to the mascot.
• The mascot cannot be required to be inside the suit for longer than a maximum of one hour at a time before taking a break. If the appearance is outdoors, please allow extra breaks during that allotted time. The mascot is unable to perform in severe weather.
• St. Cloud State does not provide a certificate of liability insurance. The requestor assumes all responsibility when submitting the mascot request form.
• A friendly and safe environment must be maintained. Mascots reserve the right to walk away from any appearance deemed unsafe or harmful and refunds (if applicable) will not be granted.
