About the College
About Us
The mission of the College of Health and Wellness Professions (CHWP) is the largest professional school at SCSU with seven undergraduate degree programs and six masters degrees and one doctoral program. All of our programs are recognized for their teaching excellence and service to the community and nearly all are nationally accredited. CHWP programs are collaborative and interdisciplinary and offer a wide and diverse range of opportunities and community partnerships for our students.
Our college has a dedicated group of faculty and staff who are committed to helping students develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to be successful and productive in health care and human services careers. A hallmark of our programs is the integrated experiential learning opportunities for our students. Each semester, we have over 400 students placed in community sites working with our community partners and people across the life span to support optimal health and well-being.
We invite you to explore our website and learn about our students, faculty, and all of the exciting work we are doing.
