Studio Jazz Band is an opportunity for students with interest or experience in jazz to play in small combos or a big band and further explore jazz styles, history, repertoire and improvisation. Open to students with previous experience in jazz and those wanting to learn more.

Class credit: This class can be taken for course credit, MUSP 158 and is repeatable for credit.

Ensemble Highlights

• Performances on campus and out in greater St. Cloud community.
• Perform with outstanding guest artists on brass, percussion and rhythm section.
• Learn alongside professional faculty who perform in the Twin Cities, St. Cloud and are regionally and nationally recognized performers and teachers.

How to join: Register for MUSP 158 and attend the first class meeting of the semester.
