Education Abroad
Global learning is an essential experience for those studying political science and international relations.
Our professors lead several Education Abroad programs, providing a healthy emphasis on political science and international relations.
Austria
Dr. Linda Butenhoff's winter study abroad program to Austria will provide students with an opportunity to learn about the workings of the United Nations, diplomacy, international security, human rights, and development from the professional and diplomatic staff working at the UN.
Southeast Asia
Professor Shoua Yang leads a tour to Bangkok, Thailand, Penang, Malaysia, and Vientiane, Laos that broadens students' perspectives on the countries’ social, cultural, and political affairs. They learn how Buddhism, Animism, and European colonialism influence the cultures and countries and how to recognize the uniqueness and rich cultural heritages of these societies.
