Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr.

Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr. has pursued and achieved success in academia, business, diversity, leadership and community service. In 1996, he started America & MOORE, LLC [www.eddiemoorejr.com] to provide comprehensive diversity, privilege and leadership trainings/workshops. Dr. Moore is recognized as one of the nation’s top speakers and educators. Dr. Moore is the Founder/Program Director for the White Privilege Conference (WPC).
In 2014 Dr. Moore founded The Privilege Institute (TPI) which engages people in research, education, action and leadership through workshops, conferences, publications and strategic partnerships and relationships. Dr. Moore is co-founder of the on-line journal Understanding and Dismantling Privilege, co-editor of Everyday White People Confront Racial and Social Injustice: 15 Stories, The Guide for White Women who Teach Black Boys,The Diversity Consultant Cookbook: Preparing for the Challenge (2019) and Teaching Brilliant and Beautiful Black Girls (2020).
Dr. Moore received his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in Education Leadership. His Ph.D. research is on Black Football Players at Division III Schools in the Midwest.
dr. Saby Labor
- Founder & CEO of Resilient Campus
dr. Saby Labor is a first-generation college student, fierce campus inclusion advocate, and a high energy force to be reckoned with. She is the Founder & CEO of Resilient Campus, a leadership and inclusion organization. Saby amplifies the voices and capacities of college leaders across the nation to live into inclusive leadership excellence. dr. Labor’s recent accomplishments include publishing a resilience planner titled “Stay Resilient” and two “Student Internship Success” workbooks focused on personal and career readiness for diverse college students. Saby is humbled to be the first in their family to earn a doctorate degree. When Saby isn’t supporting college students and running her business, you can find her hanging with her spouse and dogs in Minneapolis. Saby uses she/her and they/them gender pronouns. Ted Robinson
- Ted Robinson has more than forty years of success working in the education and business arena. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales & Partnerships for Kaplan K12 Learning Services and was charged with moving Kaplan K12 into metro markets, developing partnerships with federal agencies and additional K12 education partners so Kaplan can capitalize on its strong brand. From 2007-2011, Robinson served as Vice President of Major Accounts for Quantum Learning Technologies in Ann Arbor, MI. He opened and expanded accounts in Nashville PS; Memphis City SD; San Diego City Schools; Orange Co. Office of Education (CA). He was in charge of sales and marketing for Skate Kids and Ramps to Reading. He served as Vice President of Sales for startup Advanced Academics from 2001-2007. Prior to that time, Robinson was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for startup NeTel Educational Systems, National Sales Manager for startup Creative Publications, and sales and marketing positions at Macmillan/McGraw Hill and Simon and Schuster Company. He also has done consulting work for Leapfrog, Achieva.com, CInnovations, Achieve Data Solutions, Scholar Centric, Civil Survival, Colloquy360, Edgenuity, Learning Upgrade and several other small or medium sized tech K12 companies.
The Culture
- At St. Cloud State University a student led television show called “The Culture” helps create a platform for our students of color to express their views and struggles. Through conversations around campus related issues and focusing on current trends and topics that affect today’s young adults SCSU students of color are able to connect and learn from one another’s experiences.
Dr. Tamrat Tademe
- Dr. Tamrat Tademe is a renowned speaker on racism and the toxic “isms,” xenophobia, imperialism, Pan Africanism, and emancipatory multicultural education, and a past keynote presenter for the Power in Diversity Leadership Conference as well as the Pan African Student Leadership conference and the Ethnic Studies Conference at Minnesota State-Mankato. He has been recognized as “Professor of the Year” numerous times at St. Cloud State University, actively serves as advisor to several student organizations on campus, and was the co-founder of the Faculty and Staff of Color Caucus at St. Cloud State University.
