Applied Mathematics

The Applied Mathematics minor is an interdisciplinary minor that was constructed with the goal of supporting students seeking to better learn how to apply mathematics in their chosen program of study. The courses needed to complete this minor include a sampling of courses from applied mathematics, statistics, and computing that provide quantitative knowledge and skills that students find valuable in their upper division courses and future employment.

Popular major parings include: Meteorology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering.
