Learning to Motivate and Challenge Students

At St. Cloud State, our Elementary Education program is built around a simple philosophy: education shapes the future. The first experiences young children have with teachers can dictate how they engage with learning for life, making their successful introduction to education an indispensable part of securing their future. As graduate of our program, students emerge with the knowledge, tactics, and support resources they need to improve the lives of children and communizes across the nation.

The College of Education and Learning Design is structured to grant students the broadest, most comprehensive education experience available. Through close ties to other departments, students deepen their knowledge of the subjects they love while also learning to share their passion with young learners. Coupled with courses that explore cultural awareness and educational inequities, our program ensures we usher nurturing, well-prepared teachers into their future classrooms.
