Testing Center Information, Policies, and Procedures
- When coming to test, please dress in layers. Every person prefers a different climate for testing and this will allow you to be comfortable in any situation.
- All examinees must show appropriate photo Identification in order to take an exam. Refer to the specific exam for more detailed information. Without proper identification, the Testing Center Staff is not allowed to administer an exam.
- Each exam has a specific policy regarding rescheduling and/or canceling an exam. There are fees involved. Please refer to the appropriate testing Web site for detailed information.
- Family and friends may not wait for examinees in the Testing Center while tests are in progress. They will be informed of the approximate length of time for the exam and asked to return when testing is complete.
- Examinees may not have anything with them in the testing room. If items are brought to the Testing Center, examinees may put them in a locker. However, the Testing Center will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or broken items.
- No eating and drinking is allowed in the testing room.
- Examinees must keep noise to a minimum for the benefit of other examinees.
- Cheating will not be tolerated and examinees will be asked to stop testing and leave the Testing Center if found cheating. Cheating may include but is not limited to the following: Making an effort to remove testing materials or notes from the room, not following testing procedures, failing to stop work when time is called, disturbing or attempting to get answers from another examinee, using unauthorized aids during testing, and disregarding test administrator’s instructions.
