Applied Behavior Analysis Faculty
Dr. Eunju Choi
Dr. Eunju Choi holds a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Chung-Ang University in South Korea and a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Behavior Management (IOBM) from Western Michigan University. Her research interests focus on performance management, particularly the component analysis of feedback interventions and antecedent strategies, such as goal setting, as well as the development of effective behavioral computer-based instructional design and the application of behavioral systems analysis. Dr. Choi is currently collaborating with students to improve procedural efficiency and productivity in human service settings through the application of OBM principles.
Dr. Odessa Luna
Dr. Odessa Luna’s clinical and research interests surround evaluating student and caregiver training strategies; examining practices when providing behavior-analytic supervision; and investigating culturally responsive and anti-racist teaching practices in higher education. She strongly believes all behavior analysts should make the time and space to volunteer and give back to their community. As a result, Odessa serves as a board member for both ARF and MNABA. She also is the current clinical director of Offerdahl Autism Discovery Center and has been successful in disseminating students’ clinical work during service delivery. When not working, Odessa enjoys spending time with her son, husband, and dog. She also loves baking, and she hopes to increase her skill sets surrounding keeping her plants alive.
Dr. Michele Traub
Dr. Michele Traub received her B.A. from Brown University, an M.S.Ed. from Temple University, and Ph.D. in behavior analysis from the University of Florida under the mentorship of Timothy Vollmer. Teaching at SCSU since 2016, she is a doctoral-level board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA-D). Current research interests include behavioral medicine, behavior-analytic pedagogy, school consultation, functional analysis and treatment of challenging behavior, behavioral assessment, and cultural sensitivity in behavior-analytic services. She has several active research projects and is always open to advising and mentoring driven students who are passionate about behavior analysis. Dr. Stephen Walker
Stephen Walker is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) and an Associate Professor of Applied Behavior Analysis at St. Cloud State University. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas under the direction of Dr. Richard Smith. He completed his Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis/Psychology at the University of Florida under the supervision of Dr. Timothy Vollmer. He is the past President of the Illinois Association of Behavior Analysis (ILABA) and the Mid-American Association for Behavior Analysis (MABA). He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Northland Association for Behavior Analysis and Turning Pointe Autism Foundation. His clinical work and research have focused on individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional behavior disorders in various settings ranging from large state residential facilities to public schools.
Dr. Ben Witts
Benjamin N. Witts, PhD, BCBA-D, IBA is an Associate Professor in the ABA programs. He earned his doctorate in Psychology with a focus on Behavior Analysis from the University of Nevada, Reno. His research interests are broad, encompassing areas such as gambling, infant abuse, theory and philosophy, and the experimental analysis of human behavior. Dr. Witts has been honored with several awards, including the Minnesota State Board of Trustees Excellence in College and University Teaching Award and the Association for Behavior Analysis International’s Outstanding Mentor Award. He has numerous publications in top-tier journals across multiple fields. He is actively involved in professional organizations, contributing to the advancement of behavior analysis through his roles on various committees and editorial boards. Dr. Witts is committed to mentoring the next generation of behavior analysts and advancing the science of behavior.
