Student Opportunities in Behavioral Health and Counseling

Internships, research and student organizations give all Behavioral Health and Counseling students the opportunity to practice what our educators and experts teach in the classroom. Gain clinical and research experience in our counseling and behavior analysis labs that you take to your practicum and internships.

Working with our active faculty, many students go on to present their findings with the campus and local communities as well as state and nation-wide conferences.

Our Education Abroad program in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, as well as programs in Italy's Umbra Institute in Perugia and London's Roehampton University, offer opportunities aimed at community psychology students.

Many student organizations and national associations give our students networking, volunteer, professional and learning opportunities.
