Welcome to the College of Education and Learning Design!
St. Cloud State University built its foundation on teacher education when it opened its doors as the Third State Normal School in 1869. We continue that legacy today within the College of Education and Learning Design. Our committed team of faculty, staff, district and community partners, and esteemed alumni form a network that prioritizes equitable education for all through innovative teaching and learning practices.
We strive to be the engine of change in education. The College of Education and Learning Design offers multiple pathways to becoming an educator. From early childhood to higher education administration, our programs are designed to develop and support aspiring and practicing professionals across a wide spectrum of educational fields.
I am honored to lead the work in the College of Education and Learning Design as interim dean. I bring my 25+ years of service at St. Cloud State and in the St. Cloud education community to the task, and I am deeply committed to providing every individual with the opportunity to access the education they deserve.
