Applying for EMEM Admission
Requirements
Complete admission and program requirements are found in the University Catalog.
The Executive Master of Engineering Management designed for students with at least five years of work experience. Students with fewer than five years experience can apply to join the MEM Program.
EMEM Admission Highlights
- Applicants should have an undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
- The GRE is not required.
- A capstone project at a business after completing 30 credits is part of the program requirements
- International students need to provide English proficiency score and we accept IELTS (6.5), TOEFL (79), Duolingo (105) and PTE (57) scores.

Include a copy of your resume and a PDF attachment of all transcripts/marks card/marks statement and a copy of the degree certificate if the degree has already been awarded in a single PDF file.
Apply Early
The EMEM is a high demand program and seats are filled well before the admission deadline dates and prospective students. SCSU's ASEM certified MEM Program only accepts transfer credits from ASEM certified EM graduate programs. If you plan to transfer credits, check with Dr. Shah prior to applying. Preference to the limited seats is given to students who will complete all 33 credits at SCSU.

To complete your application, you will need:
- Statement of Purpose
- Semester wise transcripts along with the Degree certificate
- Resume/curriculum vitae
- Two letters of reference
International students will also need:
- English proficiency exam results
- Passport copy
- Financial certificate
- Graduate financial form (SCSU Financial form)
Note: Financial documents will not stop your admission process. But uploading this early allows your I-20 to be issued as a priority as soon as you are admitted.
