Buses
As a St. Cloud State University student you have free access to all city buses.
The Metro Bus U-Pass Free Ride program allows all enrolled students to have unlimited fixed route bus service throughout the St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Sartell and Waite Park area to St. Cloud State University and St. Cloud Technical and Community College campuses.
Use your student ID or a Free Ride U-Pass.
The bus lines service many popular locations including shopping centers, grocery stores and downtown.
Childcare and Parent Support
Lindgren Childcare Center provides childcare on campus.
Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS) Childcare Grant Information
Post-secondary Childcare Grant Program (Minnesota Residents only)
Milestones and ChildCare Aware provide information about available childcare services in Central Minnesota and throughout the state.
Lactation spaces are available in five buildings on campus.
Our Minnesota Student Parent Support Initiative serves pregnant and parenting St. Cloud State University students and their families with resources and support.

Distance Students
St. Cloud State graduate students earn their degrees through traditional, online, blended and distance-learning formats.
No matter what delivery method, you will be included in all communications from the School of Graduate Studies.

Student ID Card
- Online-only students can request a student ID card by uploading an individual headshot on a light background (no hats, sunglasses etc.). Login to account management with your StarID and password.
- Standard practice is to pick up your ID card. If you are an online or distance student, please forward your email notification indicating your card is ready for pick-up to graduatestudies@stcloudstate.edu and include your current mailing address and we can pick-up and mail your card to you.
- Plymouth students should follow these directions.

Graduate Student Organization
The graduate student organization, which meets biweekly, is a connection for graduate students. Members:
- Meet fellow graduate students and participate together in campus activities (recreation, events, volunteering etc.)
- Link graduate students to opportunities to perfect professional skills (workshops, presentations etc.)
