Amra Racic
Amra Racic is the Director of Regulatory Policy and Intelligence at Abbott Medical. In her role, Amra is responsible for identifying, anticipating and analyzing the broad range of changing or emerging regulatory policy and legislation issues that have the potential to impact Abbott Medical. She also helps to develop strategies and mitigation plans to anticipate and address such policy or legislation trends.
Amra has spent over two decades in the Healthcare industry and close to half of that was at Medtronic. At Medtronic she has enjoyed a variety of regulatory roles, most recently her emphasis on driving the regulatory strategy alignment for Medtronic’s Global Sterilization Transformation program. She was focused on building regulatory agency partnership collaboration in order to influence new regulatory guidelines and/or policymaking for industry-wide Sterilization of Medical Devices.
Prior to Medtronic, Amra has also worked on Regulatory projects at Bayer AG and has also had responsibility for patient care management at a local hospital in Minneapolis. She also heavily participates in trade association working groups and various harmonization working groups.
Amra holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA with Management Focus from Walden University in Minneapolis.
