As part of the Minnesota State-wide implementation of Workday, St. Cloud State University is adjusting to changes in non-student business processes. As a result, the information on the Business Services webpages may become outdated quickly. If you have questions about Business Services processes, contact Business Services.
Business Services is responsible for university business operations and ensuring that financial functions comply with federal, state, system, and university policies and procedures. It is made up of three areas:
- The Accounting Department handles the preparation of university financial statements, accounting reports, and other financial information requests. This department also manages employee and student payroll.
- The Purchasing Department is responsible for purchasing and paying for all goods and services, managing contracts, overseeing the bidding process for major purchases, and handling travel and business expense reimbursements.
- The Student Services department manages student tuition and fee billing, deposits, and collections. It also handles the distribution of student loans, grants, and scholarships.
