F-1 Students
Welcome to St. Cloud State University!
The Center for International Studies is excited that you have chosen St. Cloud State as your college in the United States. We are here to help all international students at St. Cloud State University through their college experience to make it the best it can possibly be. Our office helps student find and understand immigration rules and regulations that pertain to not only staying in status but also to make the most out of your time here. We also will assist you in finding the correct information on which university services that are available to you outside our office to help navigate college. Additionally, we have community resources that are connected through our office that we will help you get connected to experience what it is like to be in Minnesota.
To help navigate some of what was mentioned above, here are a few links to get you started:
- Paying tuition and other bills: Make sure you are taking care of your tuition and other charges on your account in order to not cause issues.
- Enrollment Requirements: International Students must be enrolled in the correct amount of credits to stay in status. Find out more information here.
- Maintaining your status: This is key to remaining in the United States. Learn more here.
- Travel: If you are planning on traveling outside of Minnesota while you are here (and we know you are) make sure to learn more about what is required for your travels.
- Dependents, I-20s and F-2 status:Is a dependent coming along with you while you are studying? Learn more about what is required for them to join you in the United States.
- Replacing lost or stolen documents: Don't worry. It can happen that you misplace items. Learn more about how to replace those items here.
